Abstract: A brief biographical article examining the lives of Louis Magrath King, a British Consular Official stationed on the China-Tibet border from 1913-1922, and his wife, Rinchen Lhamo, author of "We Tibetans" (Seeley Service, London: 1926), who is thought to have been the first Tibetan to permanently settle in Britain.
